The Process
Our process is quite structured and proven and can be simply detailed
- Following contact from you, Backyards Wanted will assess your property and ascertain its suitability for strata titling. We do this using remote strata software and other non-invasive planning aids.
- We will then arrange a mutually convenient time to meet with you, on site, to gauge your expectations, desires and needs. At this meeting it would be ideal, but not necessary,
if you could provide a photocopy of the Certificate of Title and any other plans that are readily available.
- During this meeting we will take detailed measurement and undertake a site assessment.
- After the principles have been established we will arrange for our project architect to visit your site and prepare some preliminary sketches for discussion with you. We will know at this stage if the property has the potential to realise your expectations and allow us to make you an offer.
- On acceptance by you of our offer, sales contracts will be prepared by our legal department and we will make a further appointment with you to review and summarise our discussions to date, present our sales contract and provide you with a deposit.
- From this point in time your involvement is minimal.
- Prior to making our submission to council Backyards Wanted meet with the Council Town Planners to discuss the project and determine what issues will need to be addressed in the application.
- Our administrative team will then prepare an application for Planning Permit.
- The Backyards Wanted team have experience in dealing with councils and can ensure the best possible outcomes in terms of time and restrictions. You can be assured that the process will be seamless, transparent and non invasive.
